Terms of Use for Ougl Budget
These terms govern the use of Ougl Budget. By using, installing, or accessing any function of the app, the user agrees to comply with these terms. If the user does not agree to these terms, the user must not use the app.
1. App description
Ougl Budget is a personal budget management app that allows the user to record accounts, financial records, categories, and budgets, and to review balances and statistics on the user’s device.
The app is developed by OuglSoft.
2. Non-commercial scope of use
The app is intended for personal, non-commercial use only. It may not be used for commercial, professional, institutional, or profit-making purposes, and may not be used to manage accounts for others or to provide financial, accounting, administrative, or consulting services to any third party.
The app is not a commercial accounting tool, a business management system, or a substitute for professional financial or accounting software.
3. License
The developer grants the user a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only, in accordance with these terms and applicable laws and regulations.
Installing or using the app does not transfer any intellectual property or commercial rights to the user.
4. Intellectual property rights
All rights are reserved by OuglSoft. This includes, without limitation, the app name, design, interfaces, text, graphics, icons, software structure, source code, organization rules, and any elements or materials associated with the app, unless expressly stated otherwise.
5. Restrictions on copying, publishing, and distribution
The user and any third party may not copy, publish, redistribute, sell, rent, upload the app to other stores, websites, or platforms, or include it in other products or software packages, except through official channels approved by the developer or with express written permission.
Modifying, decompiling, reverse engineering, extracting source code, creating derivative versions, or removing rights notices or markings is also prohibited, except where expressly permitted by law.
6. Acceptable use
The user must use the app lawfully and responsibly. The following uses are prohibited:
- Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Any commercial, professional, institutional, or profit-making use without the developer’s express written permission.
- Managing accounts for others or providing paid or unpaid services to others based on the app.
- Attempting to disable the app, harm its performance, or bypass its protection mechanisms.
- Using the app to impersonate others or conceal unlawful activity.
- Using the app in a way that infringes the developer’s rights or the rights of any third party.
7. User responsibility for data
The user is responsible for the accuracy of data entered into the app and for reviewing the resulting accounts, balances, and reports. The app is a personal tool for organization and tracking and does not constitute an accounting, financial, tax, or legal service.
The user is responsible for storing, protecting, and deleting any files exported from the app when they are no longer needed.
8. No financial or legal advice
The app does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Any decisions made by the user based on data or statistics displayed in the app are the user’s sole responsibility.
9. Privacy and data
The app’s handling of user data is governed by the app’s Privacy Policy. By using the app, the user acknowledges having reviewed the Privacy Policy and understood how data is stored and used inside the app.
10. Updates and changes
The developer may release updates, improvements, or fixes to the app from time to time. Updates may add functions, modify existing functions, or remove functions that are no longer suitable or necessary.
Continued use of the app may require installing available updates, especially when they relate to security, compatibility, or bug fixes.
11. Availability and discontinuation
The developer may, when necessary, discontinue the app or some of its functions, or change its availability or distribution channels, subject to applicable laws and the terms of the platforms through which the app is distributed.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided as is and as available, without any commitment that it will be completely error-free, suitable for every purpose, or compatible with every device, operating system version, or user-specific case.
The developer does not warrant that the calculations, reports, or results displayed in the app are sufficient for making financial, tax, or legal decisions without independent review.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of data, misuse of the app, reliance on unreviewed results, use of the app for commercial or professional purposes or to manage accounts for others, or loss of files exported, deleted, or shared by the user.
14. Termination
The user’s right to use the app may be terminated if the user violates these terms or uses the app unlawfully, for unauthorized commercial purposes, or in a way that infringes rights. Upon termination, the user must stop using the app and delete any unauthorized copies.
15. Store and platform terms
If the user obtains the app from an official app store or distribution platform, use of the app may also be subject to the terms of that store or platform. If there is a conflict between these terms and the platform terms regarding distribution, payment, or installation, the platform terms apply to the extent of that conflict.
16. Changes to the Terms of Use
These terms may be updated when necessary. The updated version becomes effective from the date it is published in the official location designated for the app’s Terms of Use. Continued use of the app after publication of updated terms means acceptance of those terms.
