Al-Moathen El-Chinguitti Terms of Use
These terms govern use of the app, prayer times, Qibla, adhan, and alerts.

By using Al-Moathen El-Chinguitti, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. The app is developed and owned by El Ougl Software SARL (“OuglSoft”, “we”).
1. Nature of the app
The app is an aid for prayer times, Qibla direction, adhan playback, and devotional reminders.
2. Licence
We grant a limited, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable licence to use the official app on a compatible device. No ownership of code, design, trademarks, licensed audio, or resources is transferred.
3. Setup and verification responsibility
Prayer times depend on city or coordinates, calculation method, Asr school, high-latitude setting, corrections, and time zone. They may differ from a mosque or official calendar. You are responsible for choosing suitable settings and checking a trusted local source when appropriate.
4. Qibla
Qibla direction is a calculated estimate using location and phone sensors. Compass calibration, nearby metal, phone cases, and sensor quality can affect it. We do not guarantee absolute accuracy.
5. Adhan and alerts
Delivery and playback depend on Android permissions, exact alarms, battery controls, Do Not Disturb, volume, reboots, and manufacturer policies. We do not guarantee every alert on every device or at every time; the app should not be your sole means of determining that prayer time has begun.
6. External service and connectivity
The app may retrieve timetables from AlAdhan and fall back to local calculation or cached data if retrieval fails. We do not control the external service’s availability, accuracy, or policies, which may change or stop without notice.
7. User audio files
You must have the right to use any audio file you add and must not use the app to copy or distribute unlawful material or material that infringes another person’s rights. Imported audio is intended for local playback in the app.
8. Acceptable use
- Do not copy, modify, sell, redistribute, or publish a modified app without written permission.
- Do not remove ownership notices, impersonate OuglSoft, or imply a partnership that does not exist.
- Do not disrupt the app or related services or use them unlawfully.
- Do not reverse engineer except where mandatory law expressly permits it.
9. Devotional content
Some alerts contain religious text and recitations for general reminders. We take reasonable care in preparing them, but they are not personal religious rulings and do not replace qualified scholars. Please report a documented error.
10. Updates and compatibility
We may fix the app, change features, design, or resources, or withdraw an unsafe release. Android 8.0 or later may be required. We do not guarantee compatibility with every device or system version.
11. Availability and disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without a promise that it is error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular purpose.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from a missed alert, unsuitable time, inaccurate Qibla estimate, incorrect setting, device failure, or external service failure. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Privacy and local data
The privacy policy describes location, local storage, and external-service processing. Clearing app data or uninstalling can permanently remove settings, reminders, and imported sounds; we provide no cloud restoration.
14. Changes and governing law
We may revise these terms when the app or requirements change. The posted version applies from its stated date. To the extent permitted, the terms are governed by the law of the company’s country while mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. We will first try to resolve disputes amicably.
