Privacy Policy for Safe-to-Spend

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Safe-to-Spend mobile application and explains how the app handles data used for monthly spending goals, benchmarks, forecasts, accounts, categories, budgets, exclusions, backups, import and export, app lock, and deleted-item recovery.

2. No account and no personal registration

The app does not require the user to create an account, sign in, provide a name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, or any other personal registration information to use the app.

3. Local storage on the device

Financial data entered or generated in the app is stored locally on the user’s device. This may include accounts, balances, transactions, categories, budgets, excluded categories, notes, settings, passcode-lock settings, backup records, deleted items, and app-generated summaries.

The app uses this data locally to calculate monthly targets, safety margin, current spending rate, smart month-end forecast, budget impact, comparison with the previous month, comparison with the available last 12 months, and related charts and statistics.

4. No data collection by OuglSoft

OuglSoft does not collect, receive, sell, rent, or share the user’s financial data from inside the app. The app does not include advertising SDKs, third-party trackers, behavioral analytics, or developer-operated synchronization services.

5. No internet upload of financial data

The app does not require an internet connection for its core functions and does not upload the user’s financial records, budgets, categories, backups, forecasts, or reports to external servers.

If the user opens official legal pages, contact pages, an app store page, or any external link, that web access is handled outside the local financial database and does not transmit the user’s app financial records to OuglSoft.

6. Import, export, and backup

Any backup, export, or import is initiated by the user. Exported files, imported files, and backup files are controlled by the user and by the storage location, app, or service the user chooses.

OuglSoft is not responsible for files after the user exports, moves, shares, stores, deletes, or imports them outside the app.

7. Default sample data

The app may include default sample data to demonstrate its functions, including sample transactions, accounts, categories, budgets, and monthly comparisons. Sample data is not personal data of the user and can be deleted from inside the app without deleting user-created data.

8. Excluded categories and manual analysis choices

Excluded categories are used locally to keep exceptional or non-comparable expenses out of monthly benchmark calculations when the user chooses that setting. Analysis screens may allow the user to include or hide excluded categories. These choices remain local to the app.

9. App lock

The app may provide a local passcode or lock option to reduce unauthorized access to the app on the device. The app lock is a local convenience feature and does not replace the device’s operating system security, screen lock, encryption, or responsible device protection.

10. Data deletion and recovery

The user controls data deletion inside the app. Deleted items may remain temporarily available through the app’s recovery functions until the user permanently removes them or clears app data. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data through the operating system may permanently remove local data unless the user has created and preserved a backup.

11. Permissions

The app requests only permissions needed for its local functions. It is not designed to collect location, contacts, messages, camera, microphone, or advertising identifiers for financial tracking.

12. Children

The app is intended for personal finance organization and is not directed to children. Because the app does not require account registration or personal profile creation, any use on a child’s device should be supervised by the device owner or guardian.

13. Security limits

The app is designed to keep data local, but no device, file, backup, passcode, or software environment can be guaranteed to be completely secure. The user is responsible for securing the device, protecting backups, and avoiding sharing exported files with unauthorized persons.

14. Changes to this Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app changes or when legal, platform, or operational requirements change. The updated version applies from the date it is published on the official OuglSoft website or other official location designated for the app.
