Zad Al-Muslim Terms of Use
Last updated: July 23, 2026
By using Zad Al-Muslim, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. The app is developed and owned by El Ougl Software SARL (“OuglSoft”, “we”).
1. Nature of the app
Zad Al-Muslim is a general devotional and educational aid that provides Qur’an reading, adhkar, supplications, worship planning, prayer and Qibla tools, calendars, night calculations, zakat estimates, and seasonal content. It is not a personal religious ruling, medical service, financial advice, or professional accounting service.
2. Licence and ownership
We grant a limited, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable licence to use the official app on a compatible device. No ownership of its code, design, trademarks, text compilation, or licensed resources is transferred.
3. Religious content
We take reasonable care with Qur’anic and devotional material, but users should refer to a verified mushaf and qualified scholars where certainty is required. Please report any documented textual or attribution error. General summaries do not replace a personal fatwa.
4. Prayer times, Qibla and calendars
Prayer times depend on coordinates, city, calculation method, Asr school, high-latitude option, corrections, and time zone. Qibla depends on location and device sensors. Hijri dates, night portions, seasonal countdowns, and moon phases are calculated estimates. Compare results with trusted local authorities when appropriate.
5. Zakat calculators
Zakat results are indicative estimates based on the values and choices entered. They may not cover every asset, liability, nisab rule, market valuation, school of law, jurisdiction, or personal circumstance. Consult a qualified scholar and, where relevant, an accountant before acting on a material result.
6. Personal plans and local data
Qur’an progress, worship plans, favourites, tasbih counts, Ramadan makeup days, and zakat records are stored locally with no cloud account. You are responsible for records you enter. Clearing app data or uninstalling may remove them permanently, and we cannot restore them.
7. External service and connectivity
The app may request timetables from AlAdhan and may use device geocoding. We do not control those services’ availability, accuracy, or policies. Core content may remain available offline, but some updates and links require a connection.
8. Acceptable use
- Do not copy, modify, sell, redistribute, or publish a modified app without written permission.
- Do not remove ownership notices, impersonate OuglSoft, or imply a partnership that does not exist.
- Do not disrupt the app or external services, introduce malicious code, or use the app unlawfully.
- Do not reverse engineer except where mandatory law expressly permits it.
9. Updates and compatibility
We may fix, change, add, or remove features and may withdraw an unsafe release. Android 8.0 or later may be required. Compatibility with every device, sensor, system version, font, or manufacturer configuration is not guaranteed.
10. Availability and disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without a guarantee that it is error-free, uninterrupted, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from a missed time, inaccurate direction or estimate, incorrect setting or entry, lost local data, device failure, or third-party service failure. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Changes, governing law and contact
We may revise these terms when the app or requirements change. The posted version applies from its stated date. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. We will first try to resolve disputes amicably. Contact [email protected].
